Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

We had a room that was supposed to have a bed in a separate room however the door did not close. So it was basically two beds facing each other. There was only one clean bath towel, no linens for the pull out bed.
In the morning the toilet clogged right away. It took maintenance over 30 minutes to come fix it, and he did not bring anything to clean the floor with, he told me to call house keeping. I sent my husband to house keeping and they asked us to bring our towels back before they could give us new towels. He explained we didn't have any to begin with and they were acting like they didn't believe him. The lady was just rude about it.
The beds were very uncomfortable. The thermostat on the wall did not work in the bedroom area, we had to use the controls on the unit itself, and that only seemed to work part way. Overall the stay was awful. Would not go back to this hotel.

Positives:
Room was large, separate sleeping areas. Kitchenette was very cost effective for our 4 night stay. Free laundry facilities (just bring soap). Everything was really clean.
Negatives:
Our room was in the front of the hotel, so we had to hear the noisy highway all night. If you stay here we recommend staying at the back of the hotel. Our third floor hallway didn’t smell great like the lobby.

It was nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The workout room was exceptionally clean as was the room. I actually chose it originally because of the $10 pet fee. I am no longer going to stay in hotels with an absurd pet fee. Loved the fridge with an ice maker!!

Even though there was a recliner in the room, there was no way to position it to sit in it to watch TV.
