Pleasant
Positives:
The room was spacious with a sofa bed in one area and a main bedroom. Room size was good.
Negatives:
Likely related to the solar eclipse, but the price was very high for a hotel of this standard. We felt that with what must have been an excellent profit margin, the hotel could at least have improved upon the standard two day a week housekeeping service.
Breakfast was also extremely underwhelming, consisting of bread, oats, egg served on throwaway plates. A waffle maker made an appearance one day out of six.
Also worth noting there was no safe in the room. I would suggest that is a minimal investment that keeps guests feeling secure.
The experience has tarnished the previously rather highly respected parent Marriott brand in my view. .

The A/C was out in our room. They quickly moved us to another room and it ended up being very comfortable to sleep in the new room!

Great breakfast! Super clean! Quiet atmosphere. Awesome staff! Very hospitable! When I called the front desk to inquire about ice machines, they answered the phone ,” Good Morning Miss Angela how may we assist you today”? I loved being addressed so personally. Made my entire vacation!
