That the $15 parking charge was not shown or mentioned upfront. Staff lied about it being on Expedia and a customer that used that service, stated he was shocked about the parking charges. He stated he had to click 8 times in the more section before the parking charge showed up. It felt like an entrapment.

This low budget hotel is ideally placed right on the Gulf of Mexico with Crashing surf right outside our window. The outdoor pool was well kept and private. The staff were great.
Negatives:
There were a couple of small bumps. The card key didn't always work in the door, and the internet went out for a while. We would have preferred real butter and probiotic yogurt in the breakfast instead of butter-like spread. 1st world inconveniences.

They Check me in and took my money, but failed to tell me there was no hot water so they check me in knowing there was no hot water and I didn’t know until about 1030 when I get ready to go to bed. I went to take a shower now there’s no hot water and I couldn’t do anything about it looking somewhere else I would like a total refund.

Charged us 35$ usd to check in early when room was already ready and it was only 1 hr early.
Not enjoyable to walk by dumpsters and staff smoking to get to our room.
One room key did not work.

Wifi not accessible and told to call a number for it. They had no clue on the other end and took so long we gave up - I suspect the hotel does this on purpose to get people to give up and use data.
Price was totally not worth the stay. Next time we cruise we will stay in Houston at a half decent hotel for 336$. Crazy.
