The front desk staff was extremely nice at check in

The room was smelled like smoke, the a/c unit did not cool properly, there was water stains all on the ceiling and rust and mold in the bathrooms. the air vents in the room were warped from water damage as well.

not satisfied overall w/cleanliness, room quality & comfort.

there was a roof over my head...I didn't get robbed. Unless you count the fact that I couldnt get a reimbursement when I tried to cancel the second night, which I told them at 6:30 am I would not be staying for. Also, when I tried to book it, I had to book through booking.com because when I called the hotel, the phone rang for about 20 minutes and nobody answered.
Negatives:
breakfast was one option. A plain bagel and coffee. I don't drink caffeine, so my option was water, since their juice was out. Not happy about that, since one of the reasons I chose this place is that they advertised free breakfast. Bathtub needed maintenance. One light didn't work at all

It was close to the location I had to be in.

Th property is very old. I was charged for having a service dog with paperwork so that's another issue. The room had holes in the walls, the paint in the tube was ripped halfway up. The sink leaked, the sheets and towels were dingy, and the breakfast bar was a mess. I was on the third floor and thought the stairs were going to fall every time I had to use them. There's a lot of repairs that need to be done at that property if they plan on staying around and having business since they're right off the freeway

I checked out ten minutes from arrival.

Just the bed it was comfortable.
Negatives:
Restroom was the issue and the lock issues with door. The front door would lock securely unless you slammed the door shut. Looks like that door had been broken it before and not fixed professionally. The floor of the bathtub had a bubble and not safe to stand and take a shower, had to hold the sides as I turned. It was a redo but again not done professionally.
Sheets were not changed between days.
