Travelled alone over a weekend. The lady running the bar was very friendly and welcoming, as where the rest of the staff in the hotel.
I had a late flight on the Monday and the staff where happy enough to provide a late check out with no issues. Always my first choice hotel when I travel to Houston

If you have a rental...
Positives:
The location was perfect for us , and we very much enjoyed breakfast each morning in the restaurant. Great food! The restaurant staff clearly loved their jobs and took time to talk with us. Comfortable room and beds. Also a dedicated covered parking garage which offers more security than open parking.

The hotel is in need of an update, but this is why the prices are very reasonable.
