TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Hobby Airport

Negatives: Pool water was quite cold, and could have been cleaned out. I was thinking perhaps it would be heated, but evidently not.

Negatives: The location of the room was awful and was not the room I originally booked weeks ago. When I asked why, the front office staff stated that they were sold out and I was upgraded. But the room I originally booked had a king size bed for me and my family to sleep together. The room offered had two queen size beds. I was also under the assumption that some rooms had full kitchens. But the room offered did not. Definitely not the upgrade I would have considered. There was so much noise during the late evening/night and the staff did very little to mediate that! When I called the front desk to complain, she seemed annoyed. I heard every conversation my neighbor had in their bathroom (this included loud singing). Which woke up my small daughter. We slept with the bathroom door closed every night!

Negatives: Didn’t get a good night rest from the Freeway , too noisy … all night long I could hear the noise from vehicles passing by.

Negatives: We got complete Maid service only one time during our stay, meaning fresh towels, washed dishes and bed made. I was sick the first day, so we requested only fresh towels. The next time, they only refreshed the towels and washed the dishes; no making of the bed, vacuuming or bathroom cleansing. The third time, and only after asking at the front desk, did they perform complete service. The rest of the days, the room went undisturbed.

Negatives: The tv did not work in the room. The front desk person was rude and hung up the phone in my face. I emailed the general manager and received no response. Very poor customer service.

Negatives: It is old and outdated. Should not have Marriott name. Except for the location and staff it was like a Holiday Inn Express.

Negatives: Road noise on the two day stay on face of building. When we returned on second stay we got a room on the other side of building, noise level was better. *the parking fee*!?!
