The concierge who checked us in was very professional and nice.
Negatives:
Literally, the police were door-knocking the motel as we arrived and questioned my husband because he looked like someone they were looking for. Now I understand there's nothing the motel can do about police business, and the police were courteous and fine to speak to anyway, that's not the issue. But this motel had a very sketchy 'keep your eyes down' 'don't talk to anyone' 'get in and get out' vibe from the minute we got there and we felt genuinely unsafe all night.
Also, there were hairs that did not belong to us all over the room and woven into the towels. The toilet became blocked straight away with very minimal use, and the A/C (though thankfully powerful) was very loud and we had to turn it off to sleep.
I would thoroughly recommend staying somewhere else if you can afford it.
