Negatives:
I wasn’t even going to leave a review after my experience at this hotel because it’s a “cheap” hotel and I guess you get what you pay for, however after being stolen from by the manager, im not going to let anyone else get screwed. I stayed in this hotel for 12 days for the fire academy. The room was okay at best. Breakfast was always dry or completely gone at 615(they started serving at 6 and the front desk always just hid away in a back room). There were several times I would get out of class after a long day and be locked out of my room. The first time, I was told it was because I was aloud to refuse a room turnover. So I stopped putting up the DND sign. The other 3 times I was locked out, it was blamed on housekeeping however, those days my room was never touched by them. They didn’t pick up the trash bag in my room, give me new towels or change the sheets. I was the only one staying in the room so it wasn’t a huge deal but if room turnover was mandatory, then why weren’t they doing it? But again, I wasn’t going to leave a negative review because you get what you pay for, right? $1000 is crazy for a low end hotel without working pool and substandard service and breakfast but I needed a hotel close to school. There was also several roaches I had to kill while staying there.
What REALLY set me off, is that when I checked in I had a $100 deposit put on my credit card and was assured that it would not go through and would be returned as soon as I checked out. When i checked out, they charged that $100. Apparently the $1,000 I already paid for 12 days wasn’t enough for them. I called the day I left and was told by the front desk clerk “it shows returned on our end and that you weren’t charged”. Which again wasn’t true, clearly. I was told to call back when a manager was there to speak with them. When I finally got ahold of the manager, I was told I “damaged the sheets” so they would not be returning my deposit. I have pics of how I left and I cleaned myself!

Thiefs who lie and take your money. Don’t trust them. Rooms are gross.
