Positives:
The entire hotel was well cared for and clean. It's right off the highway and you might expect to see trash from the cars going by but it was very well kept. Continental Breakfast was good with cereal choices, juice,coffee morning breakfast breads and a waffle iron.

It's a bit outdated but as far as a clean comfortable place to stay it was wonderful. You can tell that the family who owns this really cares for their property and guests.

After staying at this property while hunting for the past 16-17 years accused my daughter of stealing towels. Threatened to charge her for the towels before I returned. His tone change and was very dismissive. After a long standing business relationship I will not be staying here. The hotel is old and run down, mgmt is rude, and it is overpriced for the area. There are only 2 hotel options in Memphis but do not waste your time staying and drive to the next town.

The carpet was old dirty and didn't look like it had been vacuumed in years. Pieces of what looked like dry cat food were scattered on the floor and on top of one of the night stands. The bathroom was old and in disrepair. The chairs were filthy and worn. The bed was made poorly as if the sheets had been thrown on it, but not tucked in fully and had stains and holes. The room was dark and dingy even with the lights on, there were no nightstand lamps. I would have left for another hotel, but there were none available and I had just drove nearly 800 miles and had another 900 to drive the following day. I left at 3am as I was so disgusted.

It was very quiet, had great DirecTV and was in a good location off the hwy. The room was spacious.
Negatives:
The blanket over the sheets (not the comforter) looked as if it hadn’t been washed in many stays, complete with many hairs and stains etc. I had to prop a chair up under the door as they safety door latch was also broken. Also, the main chair in the room was incredibly grimey, so bad I didn’t even use it to put my backpack on. This place has potential, but needs some thorough and extensive cleaning.
