Positives:
Close to the airport, so the Uber they forced me to get was only $10. If you're flying East and don't want to waste the entire day, you have no choice but to take the 5:30am flight, which apparently is not accommodated by the shuttle from the closest hotel to the airport!
Negatives:
They gave a key to my room to someone else, so at 3am I had to answer the door and then try to get a little more sleep before the 4:30am Uber they forced me to get.

I did not stay. The only room available was on the 3rd floor and the elevator has not worked since May 2024. I did get a refund. They were very prompt on that! The front counter clerk was very sweet and apologetic. She had to call the manger 2 time to get this issue taken care of. 1st call
manager did not speak to me the 2nd time she did. She gave me excuses but did Apologized and made sure I got my refund. Which I did the next morning! I have stayed there before and it was a good stay and a good location!

The elevator not working and the 3rd party did not have a notification of that when I made the reservation!

Breakfast excellent, liked the fact breakfast area
open till 9:30. Hotel somewhat dated, many maintenance issues but customer service was smiling!! Price was right! Many hotels in the area, like Hampton Inn, where we usually stay, were in the 250+ range. Midland isn't exactly a tourist mecca, folks,...unless one owns an oil well!!
Negatives:
Elevator out of order, thankfully we had a first floor room
House cleaning carts w/ strong smells[ammonia?] abandoned all over facility lower floor[at end of day]. Never seen that in ANY hotel! Perhaps linked to the out-of-order elevator. Noisy, middle of oil patch businesses that get going around 5am! Pillows though numerous, hard as bricks! Bring your own!!
