I reserved the room on Wednesday April 17, 2024 for April 19-20 (one night stay, arrival on Friday at 3 pm) for the quoted price of $70 (approx $87ish) only to find out upon arrival that we actually would pay $114. We only reserved the room because of the initial quote. Had we known the price would be changed after we arrived, we would've stayed somewhere else. The property looked very run down also, which caused us to be concerned for our safety overall. There were flies in the room, the shower curtain was pretty ripped up by the rings & shower curtain rod was rusty. The table was in a bad location, bolted down under the t.v. it would've been better to have it nearer to the window. We couldn't watch t.v. unless we sat on the bed. Where is the alarm clock & coffee pot that most hotels offer? Where was the shampoo and conditioner? There was no dressers to put our clothing in either.

The young lady at the desk was very friendly when I arrived to check in. Was very helpful with information, such as room location,before I asked. I've stayed in a number of places and actually chose this Motel 6 because of previous stays here.

After checking in to our room, the door would not open from the inside. We called the front desk and they came and opened it and we moved to another room. In the new room the phone did not work at all and made a beeping sound all night that was extremely annoying. There were some shady people outside and police were right outside our door with lights flashing. Not a comfortable experience!
