This was a great hotel....

The hotel was a very convenient place to stay on the night before our flight out of SAT -- close to the airport with on-demand free shuttle service.
The small enclosed patios provided a perfect space to meet up with our other friends staying at the hotel. To our surprise, there was a free happy hour and buffet too!
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
If you are not staying at the hotel for the convenience of being close to SAT, then it is a pretty miserable location -- not much within walking distance.

My stays at the Drury...
Positives:
We were delighted that there was a free dinner for hotel guests! It was so convenient! When Bianca leanred of our early flight the next morning and that we would miss the breakfast, she arranged for someone to bring us muffins and fruit and yogurt so we could eat in the morning as well.
Negatives:
Our room was freezing cold and the thermostat was not very intuitive. It seemed like we could only make it colder, not warmer. We called the front desk and they said they would adjust the temperature from their end and bring us an extra blanket. They did both things and we soon became much more comfortable.

Do not order from big John’s pizza not sure hotel let’s them leave flyers. Pizza is horrible please look at reviews before ordering from that pizza place.
