There was nobody at the front desk. He later came in. The tv remote wouldn't work, so I called the front desk. No answer. Nobody at the front desk when I left. There was a small tray on the front desk that said "leave your room key here". This was all a first for me.

Didn’t come to go to the beach but to go on a deep sea fishing trip so not much help rating the amenities

Super close to the beach, but it’s the people that work there that made the stay just 100 times better than I would’ve anticipated

It’s run down. Could use some maintenance. The mini fridge in our room smelled like something rotted in there for months. Anytime we opened it the stench filled the room and attached itself to our drinks. We had to wash our drink bottles with soap to get the smell off.

Positives:
First, the staff was amazing. There was a young lady at the desk in the afternoon and a guy at night. Both were so friendly. I asked to speak with the manager regarding early checkout and was able to meet with her. I forgot her name, but she was super nice and welcoming.
Parking was easy and the entire hotel was clean. The refrigerator in the room worked great, as did the coffee maker.
Negatives:
The AC in the room kind of sucked. It was super cool in the hallways, but the room wasn’t that cool to the point that we bought a fan at Wal Mart.
The tap water didn’t taste good and didn’t make good coffee. Thankfully, we brought bottled water so not that big a deal. The shower water pressure wasn’t spectacular.

The beach access was nice to have and easy to use. Conveniently off the main road near where we wanted to eat and explore. The front desk staff were attentive.
Negatives:
The bed pillows were very uncomfortable. The rooms were also unclean. Food scraps could be found on the carpet and we saw and killed two different roaches within the unit. A third got away.
Card readers were also very inconsistent. Over our two night stay, we had used five different cards and only one worked consistently. Seemed to be a property wide issue.

I DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ROOM. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL. THE HOTEL HAD A BAD ODOR, THE RESTROOM WAS DIRTY WITH USED TISSUE PAPER ON THE FLOOR, A PENNY WAS ON THE SELF BELOW THE SINK. NO HANDSOAP, OR TOWELS. WE WERE 4 ADULTS AND ONY 4 LARGE TOWELS, NO HAND TOWELS NOR BODY TOWELS. I FOUND A DIRTY DIAPER BEHING THE FURNITURE, UNDER THE TV. THE ROOM SMELLED OLD AND MILDEW OR YUCKY. THE CLOSET SMELLED EVEN WORSE. I ASKED FOR A HANDICAP ROOM WITH A SHOWER AND THEY DIDNT ACCOMMDATE. I SPENT OVER 400.00 FOR THAT ONE NIGHT AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS. I DO HAVE PICTURES BUT AM NOT ABLE TO SET UP ON MY LAPTOP.
