The only redeeming place about this hotel was the front desk girl. She really wanted to help fix things and was super friendly.
Negatives:
I booked and paid for a double queen room and got a single queen. My daughter has trouble sleeping with others. They promised me a rollaway bed for her but when it hadn't showed up by 11 I had to make her just deal with it and go to bed because she had a dance competition in the morning and had to be up at 6. When we arrived to our room the floor in the kitchen and bathroom were both super sticky and all they could offer was a couple rags and some dish soap for me to clean it myself. The bed was not soft and was super springy.

Positives:
I had actually booked a room at another hotel but canceled because the manager was very rude and professional. I'm glad I did because Candlewood Suite's rates were better, and my dogs and I had a very nice stay. The staff was excellent: very friendly, pleasant, helpful and the facilities were very accommodating. I traveled with two dogs (very reasonable pet fee BTW) and requested either a ground floor or room close to the elevator to be able to take the dogs out quickly and they were very nice to accommodate our needs. Very pet friendly with lots of other dogs there. Although, they don't usually serve food, they did the day before and the day of the solar eclipse just to give their guests a treat. They do make coffee available which is very important to me, and they have a modest commissary where snacks can be purchased. There are an abundance of places to eat that are easily accessible so not having a breakfast was no big deal.
Negatives:
No complaints, just a suggestion: put in shower heads with extra handheld heads since the water pressure is a little low.

Toilet didn’t flush. Called to get it fixed and they never came. Extremely nasty dishes left in the dish washer, tables bathroom and kitchen was completely filthy. The key card only works after you do it 20 times. The tv was broke and they never fixed it. The phone in the room was broke. Also there was roaches in the cabinets.

Positives:
We have stayed here previously and it was getting worse every time, but they are animal friendly so it worked. This time we were charged more for our pet, saw multiple roaches, and they did not care about people drinking and partying in the front grilling area.
Negatives:
They are hiking pricing up for pets, not clean, double beds are cramped for a family of 4. No longer a value just because they are pet friendly. We will not stay again. Trash cans at the ends of the halls, full constantly with food and open beer bottles all over the floors.
