This was an excellent hotel offering a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed for a quick weekend away. It's very close to Woodlands attractions and close to stores and
restaurants. Breakfast was outstanding and made to order. Nice comfortable beds. Workout equipment in room. Bar open at night.

There was a planned power outage from 10pm to 5am. We were never contacted prior to our stay so we showed up with no warning. Staff knew the day before that outage would take place, but took no initiative to inform guests before check in . All hotels in the area sold out for a concert. Had no AC for hours in 90 degree weather, took showers in dark, had to take the stairs, woke up numerous times sweating. If we would have been told when the hotel found out the night prior, we could have arranged an alternative stay. Things happen, but expecting guests to pay full price with NO DISCOUNT offered for staying in South Texas without AC in mid summer is ridiculous.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure.
Negatives:
When we arrived the air conditioning was broken in the room. We got the room because we drove 4 hours for a concert. The concert was all day in the sun. We were sun burnt and it was hotter in the room than it was outside. Finally at 1 am the lady at the front desk took a fan out of the managers office. We finally got to sleep around 2am, only to be woken up at 6am by the people staying in the room next to us screaming at each other and trying to get in the door that connected our rooms. After 3 hours and 3 phone calls to the front desk we finally packed our things and left. This trip was planned for months and this was absolutely unacceptable.
