The room I had on the first night of my stay had a strong spell of mold which made it difficult to get a good nights sleep, but the morning manager was quite helpful in getting me into a different room.
Negatives:
Close proximity to the Soapbox Derby hill in Hockley, TX. Many other members of the 2024 USA Slalom Skateboard Team stayed in the Hotel this weekend as well.

The shower in our room was nasty. Mold all around the door slides. You could see things written on the glass doors from previous customers. Also this was for work and my husband left for work at 7 and they never had anything cooked on the breakfast bar. They had muffins that were old. No coffee either.

Upon coming to the hotel I found out they don't take cash and there was a disgruntled man asking for a refund. Apparently he was double charged and never stayed there. I just couldn't see my family getting done like that. Two thumbs down.....

Everything was a big disappointment. They would not give us wheelchair accessible room on first floor as we requested. Did not give us rooms close to each other. Would not refund money or cancel rooms without making us pay even though they did not meet our specific request of handicap accessable room. Put us on second floor so if there had been fire or emergency my mother who is wheelchair bound would not have been able to evacuate hotel. Rooms were dirty. Had moldy smell. Comforter on beds were filthy. Desk clerk was rude and very uncooperative. Didn't have ANY breakfast items available 1 hr after breakfast started. Said they had ran out. My son asked if they had soda or water for sale, desk clerk was rude and told him there was a gas station within a mile he could just walk to get something to drink.
