Best Western Mountain View Inn

Negatives: The TV didn't work. The bathroom was dirty. There was a long brown hair on the side of the tub. The facility is old and was not maintained well. The paint job was terrible and light switch plates were dirty and cracked. The desk chair in our room was dirty and the refrigerator and microwave were extremely old. We're on the last few days of a 3 week vacation and have plenty of recent experience on what we should be able to expect from a hotel. This was by far the most expensive one we have stayed at ($237) and by far the worst.

Negatives: Was not told that the pool and hot tub was closed nothing said that it was not available and I was looking forward to relaxing by the hot tub but jets didn’t work in room juccuzi so all around I was not happy room couch dirty floors dirty hair all over side of juccuZi and shower in bathroom shows tub on website shows pictures of pool 2 months ago so expected to be able to use it 234 dollars not worth 100 at the most

Negatives: The walls were very thin and it sounded like the people staying in the room above us was coming through the ceiling. Also heard dogs barking coming from another room down the hall.

Negatives: No elevator!!! And no rooms were available on the ground floor. We had to drag all our luggage up steps. The lack of an elevator is not highlighted in the Booking.com. Heating system us noisy and highway noise is also loud.

Negatives: Not very clean. Breakfast area was dirty. Food selection was poor. Condiments were not well supplied . Lacking in many areas The hotel seemed like they did a50% remodeled but never finished.

Negatives: Front desk kid. Kind but not really the type of person you need to greet guests

Negatives: We stayed in a two queen plus sofa bed. The mattresses were bad, you sunk into middle, no support. Every time someone rolled over in the night or got up the beds made loud squeaking sounds and woke us up. The fridge was loud. The AC/Heating unit was loud. The traffic from highway and surrounded gas stations was loud. Truckers coming in and out. The shower door squeaked and was very loud. The sofa bed was not made when we arrived so we had to call for sheets. The staff ran some right up to us, but the bed was very worn. We had to use stairs for the second floor. The shower had some scum in the grout, but things had been cleaned. Just didn’t seem well sanitized. We didn’t even want to eat breakfast there because of how bad we slept and the uncleanliness issue.

Negatives: Very little choices

Negatives: lots of noise, dogs barking next door, the AC/Heater was very loud every time it shut down, the ice machine across the hall was very loud every time it came on, spoke with the management about it when i checked out and he basically did nothing

Negatives: Pool was outdoor and closed for the season which was super sad for my three kids. We didn’t know it was an outdoor pool, but something to check on next time. They were also clearly in the middle of a renovation as some things were done, like the shower, and other things weren’t like the bathroom flooring. The whole room was hardwood floor which was not super comfy. The heat wasn’t on when we checked in and the temp outside was about 32°F (0°C) and the room was freezing. The heat also seemed to stay on constantly despite changing the heater multiple times so then we cooked overnight and that was uncomfortable in itself.
