The room was nice. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly.
Negatives:
The heat didn't work. First night was not too cold, so we were fine. Second night, the maintenance man fixed it and it worked for about 4 hours. Third night I got it to work by working through the cycles to finally get the heating element to work, which is what I saw the maintenance guy do the evening before--it then worked for about 4 hours. That was the coldest night---the room got down to 58 degrees. Also, on the second day the housekeeping staff left us with 1 bath towel. Just 1.

Every employee we encountered was polite and professional and went out of their way to be kind and accommodate us in every way possible. I have family in this area, and there are hotels closer to them -- but I will stay here again because of the great experience I had. The location is convenient to downtown and the airport without traffic or parking hassles. The breakfast had something for everyone--eggs, sausage, toast and jams, fruit, oatmeal, muffins, cereals, pancakes (a pancake maker!), yogurt, and unlimited coffee and tea. (They also did a "last call" to see if anyone wanted to get something else before they closed down the breakfast area--and this is not common in other hotels!
Negatives:
I did not mind at all that there were a couple of spots of damage in our shower, but I could see how a nasty guest may complain about that nonsense.
Similarly, I did not mind at all that on the day of the eclipse my shower was warm (vs hot as it was the day before and after)--but again, I mention it simply because there may be some picky people out there who do not consider how the surge of guests affects things.

Positives:
Breakfast was excellent. Pool and hot tub were nice.
Everything was immaculate. Everything was excellent, except the roaring HVAC unit, housekeeping, and the surprise fee upon checkout.
Negatives:
There were only three sets of towels for four people. One day, there was no housekeeping. Another day, the housekeeper took the ten dollar tip, but didn't make the beds. The HVAC unit was incredibly loud. The dispensers on the walls were too high. At checkout, there was a surprise fee added on.

Staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Lots of available parking. Breakfast was delicious.
Negatives:
I was not too happy with the cleanliness of the room. I found an empty Gatorade bottle and McDonald’s sauce packet peeking out from under the bed. I didn’t receive a do not disturb sign. I also did not have any towels in the room. Additionally, there was a desk in my room but the desk chair was missing. It felt like I had been put in a room that was not finished being made up. There is also typically a hotel guide given that lets you know when breakfast is, what time to check out, when you can use the pool, etc. It was explained upon check in but a pamphlet with some overview would be nice.
