Going into this knowing it is mainly for ski lodging- I was a bit more gracious with what to expect although year round lodging. I appreciated the warm greeting from Vince, he does allll the things for this property. He was out checking the pool levels daily, mowing, checking in, etc. All with a smile! That goes a long way. My spouse and I booked the room with the spa tub in the room which obviously was my favorite part. We used it several times during our two night stay. Everything was very clean and sanitary.

The property is very outdated, so I am in agreement with the other reviews there. And I’m sure Vince knows this as well! But, these renovations take time and money. So I understand. This lodge has a lot of potential. When you first walk in the smell is interesting lol. I know this is a pet friendly lodge so they have to be careful using any scents around the pets. But maybe adding some sort of freshener that is pet safe? It’s not a BAD smell, it’s just musty (?) I guess.
This one isn’t an easy fix at all so no points taken off here lol but the only way upstairs is quite literally the stairs. This makes for a tough time if you have some luggage. And they are a bit steep so watch your step
