After driving for 7 plus hours from Connecticut, we could not stay at this property because there was NO PARKING anywhere - street, self-park, or valet. The desk agent had to find us a property nearby where we could park our car safely.

I returned to the Doubletree because I found the location to be safe, convenient, and accessible to Pentagon City metro. The airport shuttle service is a plus. I like that there are a variety of restaurants within walking distance, a Whole Foods nearby, and people walking to the nearby apartments at night. The hotel offers various amenities, including the Skybar with a view. The shopping center, at Pentagon City is a short walk from the hotel offering endless shopping/ meal options. Freshly baked cookies are a plus. The staff is courteous and resolves issues right away.
Negatives:
The hot water in my shower fluctuated.
