The hotel gave me a room with a good view of D.C. per my request, which I really appreciate. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant staff (specially the girl Dang, if I recall her name correctly) was nice. The hotel is a little old and need update, but acceptable. The location is ok, although not great, and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the metro every hour.
Negatives:
In the morning of Jan 3, 2026 (around 8:30am), the front desk staff (Shere, if I recall her name correctly) was extremely rude and unreasonable, displaying an unprofessional attitude that made her unsuitable for the position.

Overall, a good stay but...

Room was fine. Good value.
Negatives:
There is no parking for check-in. Just one lane between the hotel building and the parking garage. There is no sign for folks just checking in... if I were alone I'm not sure what I would have done. My husband went in and I stayed in the car but had to circle several times as I was blocking traffic. (Car share traffic which didn't hesitate to honk).

A very clean location and I’m very picky when it comes to cleanliness of hotels. I loved the city view without actually having to be in the city. The shuttle to the mall made it even better.
