Sonesta Select Arlington Rosslyn

Negatives: Housekeeping is on request, not daily. My in room phone didn't work. The room lacked a desk chair, but they provided one on request. Some ceiling panels in the exterior hallway were left uncovered for a few days during my stay. The bedside clock wasn't set to correct time. You can hear airplanes from 10th floor room, but at least not during the night. Like most hotels, you can hear other room doors closing and people out in the hallway.

Negatives: I didn’t realize there was no service. Anything needed you had to go get yourself after repeated requests to front desk. On the 3rd day asking for something one lady asked me to come to the desk. Some staff had bad service attitudes - not very friendly.

Negatives: The staff was rude from check-in on. The first person told us our breakfast rate only covered 1 person and tried to make me called you to get it covered for the 4 of us. Our room was bumped by a group, which meant my mom’s room was not near ours anymore as they had promised her an hour before. Our room had multiple sockets that didn’t work, no microwave, and the microwave they brought was broken. Lamp shades were missing. Trash was not collected from public areas. Their breakfast was a muffin OR pastry OR cereal with coffee OR tea OR juice but then expensive paid options more in line with a standard breakfast - not what we would expect from somewhere advertising breakfast for $15 a day. Getting the breakfast was ridiculously tedious, as they had one person to serve all of the people and it took 10-15 minutes to get 4 muffins each time. The keys only worked intermittently when coming in after 11 PM. The last day that we were there, there was no hot water to shower with. I would expect all of this from a hotel I was paying $60 a night for, but not one where I was spending $300 a night for my graduation weekend.

Negatives: Found out in the morning that I had to pay for breakfast and parking when the advertisement stated they were “available” but should have stated.. “have to pay!”

Negatives: My stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. The staff were unbelievably rude and incompetent, the breakfast was disgusting and inedible. I strongly advise against staying here; this place is a total disaster.

Negatives: Problems in communicatin between reception (did well) and housekeeping (didnť do well). The person from housekeeping did not understand English and the receptionist had to communicat with him via translator in his mobile.

Negatives: No breakfast in sundays. The breakfast other days was very limited. Allmost no healthy foods. Good coffee being the only positive exeption. No romservice unless on request. One of the days I requested it, it did not happen until I asked the cleaning maid myself. First day the internet did not work, and I had to ask the receptionist several times before he took it seriously. All cutlery are plastic, witch is both not very pleasent, and bad for the environment.
