The hotel did not have my reservation on their system. I said "do you have a reservation for Jeffrey Lang. Answer NO. I gave my confirmation number hoping that would work, no luck there. They did have a room available, so we stayed the night.

The hotel was fine, but...
Positives:
I liked the location. And the easy walk to nearby restaurants.
Negatives:
I didn't like that I had to change the room because that room was not clean. The second room was not clean as well. The shower curtain was dirty. I took a picture of it. Under the sink where the towels are stored was dirty. There was a soap that was there, and it was dusty and dirty. None dusted or cleaned under there. The floor was sticky. The window sill was filthy with dust and dirt. The elevator floors were in need of repair.

Positives:
Breakfast was below average. Would have liked some fresh cut up fruit, as opposed to bananas and apples. Was a problem with coffee machine. Had to wait about 20 minutes until they got it fixed. It was not a good cup of coffee.
Negatives:
When arrived, the TV was on in our room. Wasn't the batteries, because we could change channels and volume, but could not turn off. We got in late--about 1am--just wanted to sleep, so had to go back downstairs and get a room change.
Then having to wait 20 minutes for coffee in morning was disappointing.
Condition of hotel was less than average, but I suppose an OK value for the money

Beds were comfortable and sheets were soft
Negatives:
Location stinks! 95 is right behind your room...incredibly noisy. Rooms need some repairs/updating. You can tell they let dogs stay as the furniture in the rooms had scratches/bite marks all over them. Not as close to Kings Dominion as we thought.
