This was hands down the best hotel I've ever been to, it exceeded my expectations. Everything from the entertainment, the environment, and the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. I loved the dim lighting, it was very calming. Even though other guests were enjoying themselves and moving around, it maintained a respectable sense of peace and quietness. The lighting definitely set the tone! There was a pleasant aroma through the halls on every floor that I'd never experienced before. I will look to stay at this hotel for every outing I have soon. I'm a fan!

This location is run down, dirty, and poorly managed.
My husband and I booked a room at Aloft because it was rated 8/10 on Booking.com and the pictures of the hotel looked modern/up to date.
DONT BE FOOLED, this is false advertisement and a disgrace on booking.com part. The pictures were clearly taken when the hotel first opened and it probably never looked that way ever again.
Broken furniture, torn up carpets, and dark danky hallways.
The furniture and carpet in the room looked like they had been trashed. The shower had mold in it. Nothing was clean. There were smudges all over the TV and windows.
We checked in, and then when we saw the room, we went back down to the lobby and promptly checked out.
Getting our money back from booking.com was a nightmare. They can not issue a refund unless it is approved by the hotel management. Even though it showed that they checked me out 20 minutes after checking me in. It took multiple three-way calls on my part to facilitate conversation between the hotel manager and a booking.com rep.
Call me crazy, but I don't think it's my responsibility to do a booking.coms job? I had a valid concern for my safety and health, and I had multiple pictures to back it up. Seems like getting a refund shouldn't require so much hassle.
