Everything else. It was unclean with broken fixtures. And there were roaches in the TV. I stayed about 15 minutes before checking out. Because that's how long before we saw the bugs.

Everything! This property is in desperate need of upgrading, both interior and exterior. Reminded me of a “seedy motel.” Neighborhood is not that great either. Had a 3 night reservation, but only stayed one night. Did not feel safe here.

Not impressed! This property is old and outdated. Location is sketchy, too.

Snowing on the last day, as I was packing up the car, the manager/owner drove over to check on me so I could hand in my key card. SO sweet!

The staff was nice. The room was clean. Very satisfied from the time of check in to check out. Cigarette butt receptacles were placed through out the property. The property was well kept

I booked a smoking room and was told at check in there weren't any available. I am not a smoker but my partner is so this didn't impact me as much and there are ash cans located within feet of the hotel rooms. The waffle batter looked bad (it was watery).

Didn’t get a bit of rest here. Traveled all night, got in bed about 4am. I think a requirement to stay here is to have a ridiculously loud work truck- backed up to the building- that the workers start up about 5am. Another requirement is to yell over said loud exhaust to talk to one another- right outside your room with paper thin walls. From 5am on- every half hour it seemed like another loud truck would start up and just sit and run. Didn’t sleep hardly at all, which isn’t ideal after driving all night. Had jet lag for days trying to catch up on no sleep. Yeah the bed was kind of comfortable- squeaky- but had clean sheets… but what good is that if you can’t get any sleep? Also seemed like a rough crowd that stays here. Was concerned items in the bed of the truck would get stolen. If I had to stay at this location every time I came into town I would never come back to Christiansburg. Will never stay here again. Would rather just stop in Hillsville on the drive in than stay at this place again. Staff was nice, but nice only goes but so far after you haven’t got any sleep.

I had a long day of travel and would not arrive until after 2am. I called to let the front desk know and they were very kind. Already had my keys and room ready for when I arrived so made it super easy to get to my room fast and the woman who checked me in was very nice.
Negatives:
It was actually better then I expected. It was quite and clean which for such a inexpensive price I was pleasantly surprised. I did ask for a extra 30 minutes after the check out time at 11am just because I arrived so late I just needed the extra rest but was only offered a extra 15 minutes. I ended up checking out in time but would have been nice if I could have had the full extra 30 minutes.

Convenient to interstate. Free breakfast. Less than $100 a night. Convenient to Blacksburg. Big room. A/C (heat) worked.

70’s era bathroom fixtures. Tiny toilet (prepare to do squats if you use the toilet!). No coffee in room. Bed super firm. Tiny pillows.
