This location is very convenient for hiking, skyline drive, and seeing in nearby towns like Staunton and Waynesboro. The hotel is nice and clean, though showing signs of wear. The hotel was completely booked, but we did not hear a peep in our room from any other guests. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. We did not use the fitness room or the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The breakfast was passable but certainly could have been better. The cereal selection was very bland. Basically plain cheerios and raisin bran. The OJ was watered down. The waffles tasted off the first day. I would assume inconsistency with mixing the ingredients.

Surprise charge of $75 for my 10lb shed free, dander free 6 yr old dog. Never had a charge higher than $30 in any hotel. Wallpaper in bathroom peeling off the wall in a 4’ section.. breakfast was same as a Motel 6 .. and unremarkable
