The room/beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful & friendly. The breakfast was great - nice variety& good food.
Negatives:
The location closer to the highway was our first choice, but they kept putting us on hold & then hanging up. We ended up booking online because we couldn’t get through & that’s how we ended up at the Galax location. What I didn’t like was that they couldn’t give us a military discount because we booked online. Then, after telling us they couldn’t change our rate because we booked online they charged us for a rollout bed that was listed as complimentary when we booked online. Thankfully, the manager helping us credited the cost of the rollout because she agreed that it wasn’t right to tell us the rate couldn’t be changed for a military discount, but it could be changed for the rollout.
