Shady people who live there long term hanging around outside. Car was vandalized overnight. Bugs in the bed. Comforter had large bleach stain covering it.

The room was completely bare. Loud noises above me until 1:30 in the morning so couldn't sleep. Went to front desk at 1130 pm to complain about noise about, banging like moving furniture, front desk said they would take care of it, nope. Nxt morning spoke w manager, he was the rudest person I have ever dealt w at a hotel. He told me this was too be expected because we were on first floor. He refused to give a refund and said he didn't have a supervisor because he was the owner of Motel 6. Do not stay here!!!!!

I had insect bites all over my body. I think it came from the bed. This hotel should investigate for bed bugs infestations at room 47 .

The location was convenient. But the hotel is very dated.

There wasn't much. The bed was comfortable.

This Motel 6 was very noisy. The rooms above me made it sound like I was under a WWE Wrestling ring. All night long. Foot steps. Back and forth. Loud thumps like someone fell from the ceiling. Smh. Never again. And then you got people hanging out in the parking lot talking and being loud at 3 4 5 in the morning. NEVER AGAIN

Positives:
Check in was easy, while the room was sparse, it was very clean. The parking lot was very well lit and we felt safe entering and existing our room directly from the parking lot. We stayed here while visiting my daughter at JMU. All the other hotels were at least $200 more/night. This hotel was worth if for the price and we would stay here again for the bargain price.

Room could benefit from a dresser, or some additional furniture.

The web site offered paying cash on arrival, that was my choice, it was put on credit card anyway, the AC unit was exceptionally loud and turned on and off about every 30 minutes, one bed cover had a very large stain on it, and another smaller one, as I had a dog I was worried I would be charged, when I pulled off the bed cover, there was long hair on the blanket.
