Not sure our room curtains would have closed fully to block the sun. We left at 4am, so that was not an issue for us on this visit, but I would not be able to sleep normally in a hotel where I could not block the light from the sunrise.

There are times that I have stayed that the curtains closed. The room that I was in last night the curtains are stuck maybe 1/3 the way closed. Because of that the street light would come in. Making it difficult to sleep. The darker it is the better I can sleep
