Positives:
The hotel is in a good location and was one of only a few properties in the area that could accommodate two separate rooms in a suite set up. Convenient for Dulles airport and Tysons. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast had hot and cold food, the usual fare. Bed and bed linens were comfortable.
Negatives:
Hotel is somewhat outdated in terms of style, but still functional. One of the smoke alarms started beeping due to a low battery every 30 seconds our first night, so we had to call maintenance to replace the battery the next day, and they did so efficiently.
I was charged more than the rate quoted by booking.com after checkin, and when I brought it up with the front desk, they highlighted that local tax rates had increased recently, so be careful booking via booking.com, expect to pay more I guess or book via another platform..

We took this hotel because it said they had a free shuttle service. We assumed it was for the airport - it's not. I asked about the shuttle the night before, and it would have been great if the reception person clarified they don't take you to the airport.

The extreme friendliness and helpfulness of all staff members, in particular the general manager. Wonderful room, very good breakfast in a comfortable breakfast room with enough tables and nice decoration. Very clean and welcoming hotel!
