Positives:
The bed was pretty comfortable and the pillows were as well. The staff was friendly. My room was clean and there were complementary shampoo, conditioner and lotion. They had hot breakfast available. Check out was super easy, just had to drop off the key cards.
Negatives:
Parking was a little tight. Snow melting from the roof was dripping right at the entrance, so you had to be quick when walking in as to not get wet. Checking in seemed to take longer than most places, but it wasn’t that bad. My room was great other than the microwave and fridge being plugged in to a turned off power strip that wasn’t easy to get to. I had to ask the front desk clerk for assistance as the furniture in front of it was too heavy for me to move. The breakfast was good, but they could have offered bacon as well as sausage. There was some variety of food, but not a whole lot. It would’ve been nice for it to last a little later than it did.

I had an excellent interaction with Savannah at the front desk who was kind and accommodating. I wish more people were like her.

My only small complaint was that I could here outside noise but it may have been night construction.

Quality property at a great price.
Positives:
Breakfast was fine: individually packaged cereals, muffins, toast, make your own waffles, eggs, and sausage patties. My kids enjoyed the pool area but it wasn’t very heated so we lasted about half an hour. Vending machines were out of order on our floor. There was a wet floor sign in the elevator. Definitely an older, budget hotel but clean. Near several restaurants and right off the highway. All staff were nice.

We have been coming here ever since our daughter entered college in 2013. Love to come out and enjoy the area. Super convenient to the highway. Quiet. Free breakfast!
Negatives:
The inn is showing significant wear and tear - some big carpet stains in the halls, stains and scuffs on the walls. Sheets and bathrooms seemed clean, however. Although we have been coming for more than 10 years, the next time we would probably pick one of the newer inns unless we heard that this one had undergone renovation.

The first room assigned smelled rancid. The sink and bath water were not draining. The room we were switched smelled foul especially when turning on heater. There were ants on desk. The guy stocking bfast had bad odor and yucky feet visible in sandals.

The pool was nice temperature and the staff was friendly. Great variety for breakfast.

The doors didnt lock at all but I never felt unsafe, but the exit door on 1st floor (at the end of the hall) slammed constantly so loud it woke my daughter up a few times. I was on the second floor near back steps thats how loud it was anytime someone went out. The beds in our room were uncomfortable you could feel the springs. Breakfast was ok but super crowded maybe less tables or make them diagonal. You could barely walk through if the tables were occupied. Overall I don't feel it was worth the amount we paid by far just for location convenience.

The breakfast was very good as I appreciate having eggs at that meal. The coffee wasn't great, but was ok.
Whoever stocked the breakfast did a nice job of keeping things filled. The room was comfortable, and i was glad to be put on the first floor, which I requested.
Negatives:
I was only there for a quick one night stay as I was on my way to NC early the next morning. It was all good.

Positives:
Quiet. Friendly. Nice setting. A bit hard to follow directions to get to it. Older carpet. Not the freshest. Probably clean but it wasn’t sparkling. Easy access to interstate.

Breakfast wasn’t the greatest. Eggs fresh. No fruit.
