The rooms were clean and spacious. The view was nice.
Negatives:
The staff though not rude was also not very friendly. Especially the evening clerk. He left the impression we were bothering him.
Overall, it was a nice place to stay if you are on a budget but still want quality.

We’ve been staying here for a couple of years while our son attends VMI. It has never been the Ritz, but it was always clean, comfortable and inexpensive.
They now have people LIVING here. Grills on the balconies. Room was dirty. Linens/towels were drty2stained. Unfortunately, we were traveling with dogs and couldn’t find another hotel with availability with pets, or we would have left.
