I have stayed here several times. The renovation of the last year totally refreshed the rooms. The location is wonderful, and the value is also. We don't seek a hotel in Luray to use as a home base because we have family here. It's simply a convenient, safe, comfortable place to sleep. ( Over the holidays our families' homes are full !)
I'm certain that I will stay at this Quality Inn several more times as the years roll on !

room needed nail and screws pulled out of wall and a fresh coat of paint. better mattress would make a better sleep

good center of town stay
Positives:
Breakfast was not included however the restaurant attached was great for breakfast. Room was getting lot of cold air from main door gaps, light sockets were not working. Bathroom door was not very tight. (I had to slam it every time to close it fully)

Lot of maintenance and repairs are needed in overall property and rooms.

Location is superb and I like the idea that parking is available near the room. The front desk , especially Betsy was very thoughtful and courteous .

Management could pls update the bathroom ; tiles are worn and shower head is old; bathroom curtain smells ; toilet seat although visibly clean is obviously not sanitized as i see there’s no label it’s sanitized. I saw a live spider crawling on one of the towels and another smaller spider on bathroom floor. Worn out wooden hangers and small appliances ( iron , hair dryer , coffee maker) were not dusted .
We stayed on Thursday ($87) and Friday ($187) , I was surprised why they jacked up the price for the same room. The Inn across ( Memslyn) which I have better rooms are about the same cost when we checked that day. I wasn’t happy of the room accommodation cost Quality Inn priced us I feel it was a ripoff

It was located in downtown Luray, which was very convenient. It was also pretty inexpensive, which is the main reason I chose to book my stay here. They also let me check in 30 minutes early, which was extremely helpful as I had to get ready for an event!
Negatives:
It wasn’t the cleanest - I saw a clump of hair in the shower. The beds also weren’t the most comfortable, so I had some trouble falling asleep. Being able to blast the air con did help a lot with that though.

Smoking areas.. People aren’t criminals that smoke. It is is a nasty habit.. but with provided ashtrays that is kept clean.. rules posted.. employee checks on keeping grounds/area clean.. Marijuana is more legal than cigarettes?
