The staff was excellent. While the facility did not have any accommodations (I think it had cereal, but the "eating area" was anything but inviting and I don't think you could fit many people in it), the gentleman behind the counter was very courteous. I didn't get his name but from his accent, I would guess Indian or Pakistani. He even offered to get my bags from my truck and help me to my room (I graciously declined, but appreciated the gesture). He offered me water (I don't recall if there was even a soda machine, but there was plenty of neon signs).
Negatives:
No elevator, so if your room is on the second floor, be prepared to slog your bags up a flight of stairs. As expected, when the site listed "free breakfast" without a description it was continental, not an actual hot breakfast. Would have been better if I knew what I was getting into. Bathroom is small, just a sink and a toilet (plus the shower of course), the sink wasn't really big enough to handle essentials for a man, let alone a woman. No place to put your clothes in the bathroom. Hotel hasn't been updated since probably when it was first built, my guess is the early 80's. I felt like I walked into a time machine. I thought I had selected a no smoking room, if I did I will request my money back as the cigarette smoke/stench hits you like a foggy wave when you step through the door. It is two days later and all of my clothes still reek of smoke. It was definitely clean, but dated. Paint next to the bathroom was peeling at about a square foot of wall next to the shower. It is basically a bare minimum motel (yes motel, would not qualify it as a hotel). The A/C is a window unit and is LOUD and either ice cold (this is coming from someone who prefers it to be cold) or above room temperature when turned off. Maybe the switch was broken. I would have expected to pay at least half of what I did had I known what I was booking. There is no coffee maker, but it did have a mini fridge and microwave. If you want to go low budget, bare minimum, this place is not bad, just not worth the rate it is charging. Think motorlodge and you are in the right ball park.

Transitioning to area and this hotel gave me a place to be that was comfortable, safe, and worth it!

Our first room had no cold water - it was scalding or nothing. The second room was fine, but the fridge had leaked at some point and the particle board was rotting away, the telephone was dirty and didn't work, the toilet pressure wouldn't flush well.
