Loved the cleanliness of the room, the shower is amazing (even the shampoo/conditioner/body wash smell fantastic!) The room is stocked with towels, the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed ever! Every single employee we dealt with at the front desk was courteous, professional, and helpful. The gym is brand new and has everything you could need for a gym away from home. The location is convenient to everything. Overall, we would recommend the colony house to anyone needing a place to stay!

No water pressure, shower only. The thermostat is terrible as well. Set it to 68° but it never went below 73°. Painted plywood above the windows... The TV channels are somewhat lacking as well. Pretty much all the amenities you look for at a hotel are sorely lacking.

I was travelling for business, and so didn't see the staff or facilities during the day, but the staff was very nice during the encounters I had. This was a very convenient location for meetings downtown. The facilities, while maintained, show their age.

The old man who checked us in, knew the room phone was off and led me to believe I was using the dialling out incorrectly! I went to the office on two occasions whilst trying to make the call and did not check to see if I was connected. Very poor!

THE PROXIMITY TO DOWNTOWN AS WELL AS A CLOSE BY MALL WITH A MINIMUM OF NOISE.
Negatives:
THE VENTS IN THE BATHROOM WERE FULL OF DUST AND THE HEATER IN BATHROOM DID NOT WORK. IT WAS RAINY DURING MY STAY AND WANTED THE BATHROOM HEATER TO DISPEL THE DAMPNESS WITHOUT HEATING THE WHOLE UNIT.
