I don’t think it was that great an area, but I booked it before seeing it.
I was on the first floor and there was a child running around above me and I assume the child went to sleep, but then there were other footsteps in motions that I heard all night long. All night long.

Crackhead talking on the phone to somebody really loud. People arguing in the parking lot. Very nasty rooms dog barking in the room next door. After viewing two rooms and telling the the lady at the front desk she did refund us our money.

The property was fine for a motel. That was the best in the area. It was clean for it to be a motel for the price that I pay only $53 a night. I got a pretty good room for that price. I have no complaints.

Always stay here for trips going to and from Florida.
Positives:
Convenient location - easy to get to and close to Kings Dominion, and the area felt safe. Beds were comfortable. Staff (including housekeeping) were pleasant and friendly. Didn't notice any bugs or other critters in the room.
Negatives:
Seemed like the room wasn't very well cleaned between guests. Table had something sticky on the edge. One wall had reddish brown splatters, and some of the other walls were stained as well. Bottom part of the toilet near the floor was pretty gross. One electrical outlet was partially broken. We travel with a portable room air purifier, and it initially rated the air quality in the low 80 percentage range and didn't get much above 90% even with it set to the max power level. We're thinking that the mattresses were dusty/dirty since the air quality would drop a few points whenever we sat on the beds. We were on the second floor, and the railing going up the stairs was sticky and left paint flakes on our hands.

Nice location and comfy beds, but the room was fairly dirty and could use a deep cleaning.

I really didn't like much other than it was kind of empty so not too much noise going on. And I like the fact that a continental breakfast was supposed to be included and that never happened. The hotel never had breakfast to offer only old coffee. I guess you get what you pay for.
Negatives:
I didn't like the fact that I had to change the room when I got there due to it being dirty. There was a non working phone. Microwave was filthy, a hole in the wall, beds outdated and it felt more like a low budget motel. I did get another room which was better.

It was quiet, and they have a TV. Bed was alright.
Negatives:
1) Couldn't tell if the door locked properly.
2) Hair in the hair dryer.
3) USED CONDOM ON THE FLOOR! Like they didn't clean the room.
4) Maybe don't book here if you're transgender, very skeptical about my ID because it was before my transition.
Unfortunately I'm poor and it was an 8 hour drive so I needed somewhere to sleep.
