Positives:
The staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay excellent. The breakfast was better than most Hamptons we have stayed in. Though dated it was very clean.
Negatives:
Only complaint is the rooms have no where to hang suits or dresses. No closets or hangers of any kind in our room.

The couch was nice, the bed was very comfortable,

We knew what to exact with Hampton Inns, and this one delivered! It was clean and comfy. The bed was great, and I really liked the shampoo, etc. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the pool. The location was great to visiting downtown Staunton.
Negatives:
This is trivial, but the huge closet door swung into the room and made it impossible to get to the bathroom while someone was using the closet. A small sliding or bifold door would have been a much better choice for the room.

Bathroom needs a refresh badly! Breakfast…..grim….left and went to Starbucks. Price, not bad for a nice hotel room but this wasn’t one.

Best Place to Lay your Head
Positives:
The location was great, walking distance to many restaurants. The staff were very friendly. Cookies at 5:00 were AMAZING!! The breakfast was delicious, lots of choices. Having full size shampoo/soap bottles in the shower instead of the “normal” travel size was great!
Negatives:
The only downfall for me, and it’s just my preference. The pillows were a little too soft for my liking. And not many options of TV channels.
