Breakfast was good. Staff at front desk were friendly

Could have been cleaner. There was a dog in the room next door. Loud bark. There was also a smoker in that room. He would crack the door and smoke through the crack.But the smell would come into our room. Our purpose in being there was to ride the virginia scenic railway. We were told the station was a half mile away. There was a station there, but the train left from a station forty minutes away. We talked with multiple different people and they will assured us We would board in staunton. Had to drive to the other station the day before, just to make sure we had the right location. Wasn't easy for my husband who is 81.

Positives:
Facilities were clean, decent, bed was good, room was nice and smoke free. One con was it just a bit noisy from other visitors at night until the early hours and some mechanical noises at times. Very convenient for my purpose. Would opt for same again.

We had 5 rooms. One was uninhabitable (water bug, hair, dirty linens.) and the guests had to move to be another room and THAT room needed to be cleaned as well.

Bathroom not very clean especially the tub. Awful orange wall color. Shoddy paint jobs. Rust showing in some places.

Wyndham properties needs to focus more on quality remodeling.

Toilet needed repair. Cheapo toilet seat would close itself when urinating. The entire facility was beat down, worn, and tired. The included breakfast was a bad joke with worse coffee.

The room was gross. Walked in and the heat was on when it was 80 degrees outside. Smelled. Dirty. Scary.
