Location was very close to the metro railway so traveling to Downtown DC was quick and easy.

I booked two rooms, with one room smelling like it had mold and the other had a strong smoke smell. The walls are thin so you could hear when the neighbors where being loud. The sheets and mattress cover were not very clean and had stains and what looked like bodily fluids stuck on the mattress cover. The bathroom did not have good ventilation and something in the room was causing me to have an allergic reaction and respiratory issues. Before I took a shower, I felt fine; however, during and after taking a shower, my throat started to hurt pretty bad, and it was getting harder to breathe. When I got out of the shower, my nose could not stop running and I started developing a bad headache. I suspect it was the room causing a reaction because when left for dinner and I started feeling better. However, as soon as I got back to the room, I went back to having a hard time breathing and could not sleep due to my reactions. They had a decent breakfast but not many options. The only nice thing about the hotel was how close we were to the metro rail system.

Absolutely terrifying, unsafe property, not as depicted in pictures. Halls outside with flickering lights facing a dimly-lit industrial parking lot with giant windows looking into the room and doors that not only do not lock automatically, but are "protected" only by a flimsy security latch. Interior furniture is dirty with holes. Staff is impolite and unpleasant. I immediately checked out and booked a property at a comparable price with halls on the inside and clean furnishings. Despite the fact that I checked out within the hour, they refused refund for a 3-day stay.
