Extended Stay America Suites - Virginia Beach

Negatives: The inside and outside of the property is just run down. Lots of rust and dust on things like the air conditioner vents that should be replaced.The furniture is old/scratched. The hallways could use some air freshener. There's no breakfast - just coffee and prepackaged snacks in the morning.

Negatives: I have no complain about the property

Negatives: The hallway leading to the room was dirty, and hair was on the floor in the bathroom. The chairs in the living room are completely worn out. The bed was a little lumpy

Negatives: This property does everything in its power to make sure you don’t want to have an extended stay. There was paint chipping in almost every room. The floors were so filthy that the bottoms of our socks/feet turned black after only being there for a few hours (we checked in after 9pm and were in bed by 12!). Anything that was exposed metal was rusty including lamps, blinds, and the air conditioner grates. The inside of the microwave was rusty and had a hole on the inside! I can’t believe that is safe to use! The dishwasher shocked me when I went to open it. There were holes in the wall where the plugs were with exposed wiring. The curtains were covered in dirty fingerprint marks. The closet doors didn’t actually have a secure way to close. The bedroom doors didn’t properly latch to close securely inside the unit. The shower was limited (you could tell they modified the shower controls so you couldn’t turn the warm water up past a certain point) so you were only able to get luke warm water for a shower. There was no drain plug in the bathroom sink. The breakfast included with your stay was a joke: cheap prepackaged muffins, instant oatmeal, one coffee carafe that was drained by contractors working there that morning, and a hot water carafe for making tea. We even found a roach in our room the next morning as we were getting ready to leave. My only regret is I didn’t think to document anything as I was there for a funeral and had other things to do.

Negatives: The bathroom was not clean. Blood stain on the wall, toilet had fecal matter splatter in it, bathroom door has a yellow substance on it, stove was dirty

Negatives: The bathroom and kitchen stove had a light bulb out. The bathtub paint was chipped so I did not take a bath and so wanted too.

Negatives: There were no negatives during my short stay

Negatives: Outlets didn’t work, roaches all in the room, Wi-Fi sucked
