La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bellingham

Negatives: Had a late check in and when we arrived no one was at the counter. After waiting 5 minutes I called the front desk. No one came to answer the phone. After what seemed like another 5 minutes of the phone ringing a guest and another gentleman entered the lobby together. The guest went up the elevator and the gentleman to the counter and apologized. I had seen both men together in the back of the building outside in the parking lot exiting a travel trailer. When I first arrived looking for a place to park and there were none available. He told me he was running off some people from the property and was upset by the ordeal and had no idea I had seen him. After taking my bags to my room I came back down to the lobby to move my car from the entrance driveway and he was gone again. I drove around the building again to go park at the Starbucks across the street as there was nowhere to park and he was again out back at the trailer and smoking. Not professional and definitely felt shaddy. Also paying for a room and not being able to park on the property really sucks. Also the key card reader was malfunctioning. Took like 4 attempts for it to open each time.

Negatives: The computer chair in the room had no arms and would of liked it better if it had

Negatives: The beds were not that comfortable.

Negatives: No Chanel guide on the tv

Negatives: WiFi was not great - in and out

Negatives: I do not have anything.

Negatives: If you get a room with 2 queens (for 4 people), a 4th pillow on each bed would be good.

Negatives: Nothing.

Negatives: Everything was great!

Negatives: The room had visible water damage, the tub was rusty. The pillows were uncomfortable. The pool area was disgustingly dirty. The bathroom in the pool area was almost unsafe. The door was terribly rusty and had substantial water damage. The ceiling above the pool had some questionable areas that look like it might have been black mold. There was something disgusting, possibly somebodys leftover food, it was on the table in the pool area the whole duration of my stay. Not once did it look as if the table had been cleaned. The front desk staff was extremely rude. I was questioning if I could possibly get an extended checkout time and without looking up from playing a game that I could clearly hear on his cell phone, he simply replied I cant authorize any more extended room checkouts at this time.

Negatives: As I mentioned, the pool was pretty small, but the kids still enjoyed it three times, and also enjoyed the hot tub. If the hotel was much busier I can imagine the pool getting pretty full with kids, but as it was, it was ok for us. :)

Negatives: The pool area is pretty uninspired and small.
