The staff of the hotel were very helpful. The best feature of the room was the shower which was the best I've ever encountered in a hotel or motel.
Negatives:
No food was offered. There were no restaurants anywhere nearby where we could go in, sit down and eat. They were all "drive through only". Also, when we were given the key cards for our room, the desk person didn't explain that the cards would be de-activated if they came in contact with any electronic devices - like cell phone or credit card. That took some time to understand and work out. Meantime the helpful staff persons who happened to be near our room the first two times, opened the door for us. Also, the bed had only a heavy blanket with sheets above it and under it. Too warm. Eventually, the air conditioner helped, so that the sheet by itself was all we needed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They understood my concerns and helped to address my request to move/change rooms. The location was also good - close to where I needed to be to attend a funeral.
Negatives:
The rooms (I had to get moved from one room to another) were not clean. There was hair from a previous guest all over the shower stall - from the walls to the curtains. The hair clogged the drain so I had to get moved to another room,. The second room was "livable" but musty and dusty. The guard shared that shootings occur there on that street regularly especially from patrons of the bar next door. I didn't realize there was a bar next door until he mentioned it.
