Exceptional
Positives:
The fact that the hotel is only five minutes walk to the beach is the best. It's the farthest among other hotels in the area. It's not accessible to shopping, restaurants, and food markets.
Negatives:
Breakfast is ok I guess. But the waffle they served comes in an individual package where you put in a toaster--very sweet and have chunks of sugar in it! The biscuit and gravy is very salty. The elevator wasn't in operation so we have to walk using the stairs to our unit on the third floor! We are two elderly couple with me having a lower back and shoulders problem. Swimming pool was also close. We informed the staff of our disappointment, and they gave us a $10.00 adjustment of our total bill. WOW! They provided ceramic mugs, but didn't have any dish soap and cloth or paper towel. Moreover, the small fridge do not have a freezer and it hardly kept our beverage items cold. We think that the price for what we paid is not worth it.

Positives:
Communication before our trip was excellent. Front desk people were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The screen door to the patio was missing. We told the front desk and within 20min we had one back up. We love listening to the waves. We thanked them immediately! Check out was a breeze. We've been here before and will definitely stay here again. We brought our pet. They are very pet friendly.
Negatives:
There is nothing to report on this one.
* Pool and elevator weren't working, but again, they communicated this and why, as soon as we made our reservation. Gave us a reminder as time got close. They told us what was going on upfront. Full disclosure.
