Positives:
Loved the hotel. It was fun to walk around with a guide to point out the different artwork and learn about the history of the hotel.
The room was so small for the nightly rate. maintenance came to replace our coffee maker and said rooms were so small because it was the original layout of the dorm rooms. FYI, you want a microwave you need to request one.
Negatives:
Small room for price. We wouldnt have booked here, but we decided to because it was our 28th anniversary. We expected no feathers/down due to allergies and they didnt provide hypoallergenic as requested by email. Also, expect to pay $10/night for parking, even if you have a state park pass. With the parking fee, plus resort fee. total additional fees $38/night.
Review
Not worth the price.

Positives:
The hotel is located at a beautiful state park. It felt very peaceful. You are away from roads so no traffic noise, which we loved. It was so quiet at night! There are several trails right there as well as a fitness room, which we appreciated.
Negatives:
The rooms were on the small side, but well appointed. I prefer a firmer bed, but my husband found the bed to be comfortable.
Positives:
Indoor pickleball, next to state park trails, happy hour until 10 pm. Historic Building
Negatives:
Lacked swimming pool and hot tub or soaking tub in bathroom.
