Positives: Layout of the room was nice and spacious. Mini kitchen area was a bonus. Friendly and engaging staff. Comfy bed.
Negatives: Only ice machine on site was out of order, so couldn't make the morning smoothie in our room. We've stayed at a couple of Red Lion Inns, and non-functional ice machines appeared to be the norm.

Positives: The beds were fairly comfy and the pillows were good. Nearby to areas we needed and a Safeway. Breakfast area had a good seating area for families.
Negatives: Where to start- Upon check in we immediately noticed the stink. The parking lot and main doors smell badly of urine. Everything but the breakfast area is super run down. Rhe carpets are a mess. A security guy was going around locking doors or checking them and while checking us in the woman tells the security guy to please check out back as a guy came up to the guests before us and was looking around in their car windows while they unloaded and then moved onto other cars. Glad I knew to triple check my car but still worrisome. Traveling with my grandmother and kids and when booking it said it was room for disabled. I asked for a luggage cart and she informs me that they have 2, 1 is broke and we are the second floor and they don’t have an elevator. My grandma isn’t disabled but mobility and stairs are an issue. This should be made obvious on all booking sites that there is no elevator. At breakfast there was zero water, you had juice and coffee options and a pitcher for milk. I asked the kitchen staff if they had water and was told they only have a fountain down the hallway. I said “you don’t have a pitcher or something for water for breakfast guests”, she said no, we have the filtered water in the fountain. What in the world?! Is this not the hospitality industry? As a small business owner I try to meet all my guests needs. I would have taken the spare milk pitcher I saw her swap out, washed that and come back with clean filtered water even if it was from a fountain. Maybe I’m expecting too much but I was blown away. The breakfast was extremely mediocre. This red lion is owned and ran by B&B Investments LLC AND IS NOT the standard Red Lion experience. Checked in to a nearby Red Lion for our last 2 nights in town and it is night and day difference!!!! Tip: bring water or water bottles as they won’t have any, remove any valuables, lock doors and if you have mobility issues make sure you are guaranteed a ground floor room.
