the staff was very friendly, covered parking, heat/AC worked well, lots of tv channels, beds were pretty comfortable, good shopping/food options nearby.

the water never got hot, the breakfast seemed like it was reheated, homeless people in the parking lot, Aurora isn't the safest street.

You can take the bus direct line right into the downtown, very convenient alright, and the staff were quite friendly. Yes, parking is free - that's the main purpose I booked it.
Negatives:
The surrounding is NOT very good! Right across the main street at that corner there were a few hookers attracting "clients". their appearance was rather frequent as we can see them from our window or when we went out. And the neighborhood on the other side was kind of trashy. The breakfast is not that good, it's exactly the same every day!
Restaurants there are not very good either and yet the price is not any less in California.
