The room was clean, and spacey, the staff was friendly and the breakfast area was nice. The late night staff knew a Cheer comp in the area was very early and had breakfast items avail early.
Negatives:
The lighting in the rooms was horrible, I know it's eco friendly but it was very hard to do my daughters' hairs styles and make up with very little light

New building, location is very close to the downtown. And free breakfast was very good.

Room wasn’t cleaned very well(human hair left on bathroom floor, filter in heating/cooling were dirty), bathroom sink had issues draining. Homeless around the area was a bit disturbing(I know it’s a difficult situation).

When I went to check in I was met at the door by staff who would not let me in so I went to my car to get my phone to show proof I had a reservation. When I came back to the front doors I was not able to go in because staff had locked the doors and were on there computer seeing if I did infact have a reservation which they did find. Not once did they apologize. It gets worse I then was told that because my master card did not have my name printed on the front I would not be allowed to stay in the hotel. I then learned they had charged my card for the 2 days I was not able to stay in there hotel even though I had told the man at the front desk to cancel the reservation if I couldn't use my master card because it's the only card I own. I did offer to pay cash but was told by the man at the front desk that "no hotel in America excepts cash". So I turned around and walked out of the hotel in disbelief at what had just happened. I'm still in disbelief why I had to pay the full amount for a hotel that would not do a single thing to help it's guests out. We had to sleep in our car with our 2 dogs instead of the hotel I had already paid for.

breakfast was great - they have a waffle maker and a pretty big selection. coffee could be better but im not picky about that and the staff was nice. Fitness center was also cleaner and newer than I expected, as was the room. Think there were recent renovations!
