Negatives:
When I went to check in I was met at the door by staff who would not let me in so I went to my car to get my phone to show proof I had a reservation. When I came back to the front doors I was not able to go in because staff had locked the doors and were on there computer seeing if I did infact have a reservation which they did find. Not once did they apologize. It gets worse I then was told that because my master card did not have my name printed on the front I would not be allowed to stay in the hotel. I then learned they had charged my card for the 2 days I was not able to stay in there hotel even though I had told the man at the front desk to cancel the reservation if I couldn't use my master card because it's the only card I own. I did offer to pay cash but was told by the man at the front desk that "no hotel in America excepts cash". So I turned around and walked out of the hotel in disbelief at what had just happened. I'm still in disbelief why I had to pay the full amount for a hotel that would not do a single thing to help it's guests out. We had to sleep in our car with our 2 dogs instead of the hotel I had already paid for.

breakfast was great - they have a waffle maker and a pretty big selection. coffee could be better but im not picky about that and the staff was nice. Fitness center was also cleaner and newer than I expected, as was the room. Think there were recent renovations!
Parking lot is half gated, hotel is locked at night. very safe
