Exceptional
Positives:
Parking on site, excellent restaurant/bar on site and good coffee/tea station on first floor. Large room with large shower. Our toilet did not work so we were moved to a larger room. Very easy drive to Spokane Airport, 10 minutes.
Negatives:
No curtains at the window, wooden venetian blinds and they did not cut out the constant white and red lights from the theatre opposite. I would stay again but would request a room at the back. The member of staff at check in was bored and uninterested, when asked how long the drive to the airport was he said 30 mins, an hour, maybe 40 minutes. When we reported that non flushing toilet to him, he asked if we would like a plunger!

Would definately stay here again.
Positives:
This is a very relaxing, well maintained historic boutique hotel in the heart of Spokane. Easy, safe walking throughout downtown, though a bit sketchy after dark due to presence of homeless people. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet. The recent addition of access to an onsite workout facility increases the attraction. Limited onsite parking is another plus. Excellent restaurants are as close as next door, and many others are within a couple of blocks.

Amazing historical building within walking distance to our favorite places.
Negatives:
We could not turn the heat down in our room. The night time temperature was fluctuating anywhere from 73-75. A little to warm for us.

Positives:
Older Charming property. Location, location! You can walk to restaurants, bars, music all very close.
Our room was on the 2nd floor, which was where there was a large seating/lobby type area. Decorated with period type of antiques and comfortable chairs. Coffee/tea available all day. There was a little alcove/hall before entering our door, which was a nice buffer to noise.
Gilded Unicorn connected to the property which was a very cool basement bar/restaurant
Negatives:
We gave plenty of notice for an early check in. We drove 2.5 hours and just wanted to plant our stuff. They were still cleaning rooms at 3:00 and people in front of us got right in. If I had gotten an email request early in the day, I would have informed housekeeping the have the room done at least by 3. Also the lobby staff had to run upstairs to see if rooms were available. How about walkies??
I loved our room, but there was something that buzzed on and off all night long. It wasn't our furnace as I turned it off. This was very disturbing as it cycled every minute or so, so wasn't an ambient background noise.

Positives:
The room was very spacious and was decorated in keeping with the style of building. Big bathroom. We enjoyed the large seating area and hot drink station. We also went on an adventure to find rooftop patio.
Negatives:
We didn’t like that the hotel sign was right outside our window. The blinds did not block out all the light.
