Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Loved the aesthetics and atmosphere. The staff was very nice and there was parking close so it was nice in such a busy area.

We love the character and value of the Montvale. The Guilded Union downstairs is a great restaurant. It’s the best place to stay if you are going to a show at the Fox theater right across the street.

The Montvale Hotel was perfectly situated for our stay and purpose. Staff was great and rooms were clean. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and there wasn’t any ac so the room got pretty warm, however all in all it was a nice charming.

Just an overbite stay over...
Positives:
Beautiful boutique hotel in downtown! Secured parking for $20 a day. Friendly staff, elevator available if you don’t do stairs. 24 hr coffee available. One thing that disappointed me was the restaurant. They advertised room service but when so called not available, they said I could call in order, I tried for an hour to do do but I think their phone was off the hook, so I was disappointed. But overall lovely stay in a cozy hotel!

The location is great, beds comfortable and there’s parking, albeit paid not free.
Negatives:
Had lovely interactions with the front desk during a previous stay, but not this time. He wasn’t unfriendly, but not openly helpful either - especially when the fire alarm went off during the night. Coffee is not available in room, must go to coffee station on second floor.

Parking on site, excellent restaurant/bar on site and good coffee/tea station on first floor. Large room with large shower. Our toilet did not work so we were moved to a larger room. Very easy drive to Spokane Airport, 10 minutes.
Negatives:
No curtains at the window, wooden venetian blinds and they did not cut out the constant white and red lights from the theatre opposite. I would stay again but would request a room at the back. The member of staff at check in was bored and uninterested, when asked how long the drive to the airport was he said 30 mins, an hour, maybe 40 minutes. When we reported that non flushing toilet to him, he asked if we would like a plunger!
